Transaction Broker

Many times the buyer and seller already know each other and are just looking for assistance to get a transaction completed. In these circumstances, neither party may wish to engage the services of a broker, or agent, to specifically represent their interests in the transaction. Instead, both parties want to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. In these circumstances, we can perform the role of a transaction broker.

About a third of all of our M&A work is done under a transaction broker agreement. Our job is to assist both parties through the transaction. We do not represent either party, so we are just providing guidance and assistance on what steps need to be taken to close a deal. We also shepherd the transaction through the process making sure the transaction reaches a successful conclusion.
